Filibuster Attitude

We know that, in these tumultuous times, 'tis folkes such as Guy Fawkes, Neo or even Jason Voorhees that inspire mass mobilization or "dememberization" as it would be ('tis a writer's prerogative to make up new words as we go along - capisce? And I intend to certainly do that! Just read on now!) But, here, on the TLB Prime Network we tend to agree with maniacal cinephiles such as Mikhail Bolotin who value the likes of (in no particular order, really)
Forrest Gump, Tony Montana and... yes, Jack Sparrow!
Hmm... uncanny resemblance with the untamed one - but who...?

And truly there could be no worthier mascot for this blog here other than Captain Jack Sparrow himself! He quite simply embodies unruliness, barbarism and the like - and does convey to it a certain je-ne-sais-quoi-de... luminous, indeed! Who cares if he was forced to leave Keira on one port and pick that Spanish hussy on another in the latest chapter of that travesty of a saga on the High Seas (or so it has become due to the corporate powers-that-be behind the scenes - the seas? The scenes, only, I assure thee!) - he's still our unruly avatar and very nearly main role-model for this stuff...! Yeah, really!

Flixster - Share Movies

 he sure does... matey!

I have an unruly streak too - I was not content with Flixster's crappy hyperlink, so I went to YouTube directly and embedded the video(s) right here:

More of our unruly behaviour: here

And here
And here
And here
And here
And here
AND HERE...!!!

*LMBO*

...

Okay, you've got us -
we just chose Jack as the site's mascot
because of the beautiful sunset backdrop
on this amusing GIF image
(which can no longer be SEEN - thanks a lot, photobucket!)
on which he is rather... wooden, wouldn't you say?
But in truly charming company there...!
Hmm... But Keira's not blonde though...?
Cut-out Jack or not -
always the conquistador, eh?
Never mind the womanizing & rampaging now -
we chose him as our mascot for his verve!
That is all the attitude we condone here!
And it's always better than a *V* mask
the originator of would have never allowed
to see so massively overused as
to be one's own personal mascot
and inspiration for civil disobedience?
At least when one adopts merely an attitude
one needs only to emulate some precise ticks
while always remaining oneself!
Har-Har-Har!
;-)
